Summary: In the great outdoors, we've made it clear that at least one of many species on any given day will have it in for you. But now EVERYTHING is coming for your head, and if they don't get you first, the heatwave will.

History: Recently, the ozone layer has been facing some hard times. With its depletion, the UV rays from above driven the woodland creatures of California mad with bloodlust...somehow. Apparently, that's how modern hate plagues work these days. And now some tourists are gonna get the brunt of it.

Notable Kills: There's a particularly outrageous scene in which a shirtless and oxygen-crazed Leslie Nelson decides to wrestle a full-grown grizzly bear. Bear-1, crazy Leslie-0.

Final Fate: After so many have been picked off, the UV rays wear down, and just about every animal drops dead because of it. All except the hawk that's been their eyes and ears, apparently.

Powers/Abilities: None

Weakness: Anything conventional.

Scariness Factor: 3-In all fairness, the concept of all animals revolting is, while not entirely new, an entirely bad thing to happen on any day. But most of the animals look like they're waiting for an offscreen human to give them cues, such as most of the dogs. Also, bear-on-Leslie is just hilarious for all the wrong reasons.

Trivia: -This film was rereleased the following year as "Something is Out There".

-The ozone layer is the region of the stratosphere that keeps all of the sun's radiation (UV rays) in check. Unfortunately, it faces constant depletion due to pollution.
